Merry Christmas Everyone! The days are counting down and I just realized how little time there is until Christmas! Yikes! That time flew by fast! Because of the lack of time, I decided to pick some really easy DIY’s and tutorials for you so that you would be able to have them done in time in case you decide to try some of these! I have made nearly all of them at one time or another, so I can attest to the fact that they are quick and relatively easy to create!

A Hand Bound Journal
This is the tutorial I have used in before. It is really easy to follow and they look so awesome when they are done! Pick out some gorgeous upholstery fabric or decorating fabric and make this journal! They are so cool and will mean so much more because you made it yourself.
Also, for more book binding tutorials, look up Sea Lemon book binding on Youtube. A huge wealth of information for customizing journals!
Also, if you want to dress up your kids school notebooks, I put together this tutorial a while back.
Headbands. These headbands are super easy, even if you have little to no sewing experience. You will be able to make them quickly, and everyone loves a pretty headband to wear on those days when you just don’t want to do your hair. I would recommend using a stretchy fabric such as a knit or a jersey. That way, it will be sure to fit and stretch over their heads.
Flower Clips or pins:
These are a blast to make and so pretty! The options are endless. You could put pretty jewels or beads in the center to make them sparkly and glue either a pin or a hair clip to the back. They would be a great little stocking stuffer or a group of different colors would make such a fun gift.
To make these kind, you just simply cut different sized circles of poly-silk which is super cheep at your local craft of fabric store. Carefully burn/melt the edges with a candle or lighter so that they don’t fray. When you do that, they will curl up on themselves and look so pretty. Hot glue the layers together and place beads, sparkles or buttons in the middle. I have made these for years and they are super easy. Finish off with a hair clip or pin on the back. Or both.
These bracelet DIY’s are super easy and look really cool and more high end than your average friendship bracelet.
This scarf is another DIY that is really easy and great, even if you have NO knitting experience. You can check out an easy to follow video tutorial here. Seriously though. These work up so fast and look so pretty. Bulky scarves are all the fashion these days. Especially you live where it is really cold, like me.
Hats for the family:
Crochet is a very easy hobby to learn and I personally think it is even easier than knitting. Here is a beginner project that would be a great gift for anyone!
That rounds up my Easy Handmade gift guide.
Which project is your favorite? Do you think you will try one of these?
